NRMA director south coast region, Alan Evans said he found comments by member for Eden-Monaro, Peter Hendy “silly”. Dr Hendy had condemned statements made by Mr Evans about the poor state of the Princes Highway as outrageous and accused him of talk that would threaten the tourist trade in the run up to the holidays.
A big, furry, four legged golden retriever called Kooper has changed Alice Verrall’s life in ways she never thought possible. Alice was born with cerebral palsy and has difficulty with the everyday tasks that most of us take for granted. With her faithful assistance dog by her side, 24-year-old Alice is able to achieve the things she once never thought possible.
Year 12 graduates from Lumen Christi Catholic College kicked up their heels in the company of teachers, parents and carers at Club Sapphire on Friday, November 14. The pressure of the past year’s study and exams was put behind them as students, dressed in their finery, enjoyed the evening’s dinner, speeches, awards and dancing.
