Police have arrested and charged three 19-year-old Victorian men after a violent confrontation at a View Street address at 1am on Saturday, September 20.
Police have established that the three men and a female were staying in the Merimbula area on holidays.
During the early evening this group walked past the View Street address and spoke briefly with another group who were staying at the address.
Later in the evening the groups spoke again and on this occasion were invited inside.
A short time later while inside one of the men damaged some property and an argument started and the men were asked to leave. Sometime later the group returned to the address and entered uninvited and a violent confrontation occurred between the two groups.
Police were called and arrested three men a short time later nearby. Police enquiries are still continuing with further charges likely to be laid.
Between 7pm on Sunday, September 21, and 8.30am on Monday, September 22, a push bike and gas bottle was stolen from the Tween Waters Caravan Park. It is reminded that if items can be seen they can be stolen, especially in caravan parks, garages and front yards.
Between Friday night, September 19, and Saturday morning, September 20, a number of solar lights were stolen from a bird bath at an address in Merimbula Drive.
A 34-year-old Cobargo male was arrested after stealing a camera from the Merimbula RSL Club on Friday, August 29. The camera was recovered and the man charged with stealing offences.
A 28-day noise abatement was issued to an address in Berrambool Drive in relation to loud noise at about 1am on Saturday, September 20.
A set of $200 PAAX brand golf clubs was stolen from outside the pro-shop at the Pambula-Merimbula Golf Club between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday, September 16. The clubs were left unattended.
