The single vehicle accident occurred at about 8.30am, and Inspector Marks said that the woman was trapped for about 30 minutes as the fire services assisted by ambulance officers and the Rural Fire Service used cutting equipment to prise open the door of the ute.
Inspector Marks said that the woman was believed to have chest and leg injuries and a possible broken leg.
The woman was taken straight to Bega Hospital and is reported to be in a stable condition with “relatively minor injuries” according to ambulance officers.
