The Chamber of Commerce Christmas Committee offered a colouring in competition for each Stage of development at Merimbula Public School. (Kindergarten, Stage 1,2, and 3.) The presentations were made to the lucky little winners on Tuesday, December 11 at the school. A girl and boy were selected from each age group with one young girl, Coco Houston, getting a special award because her colouring was so good. Prizes were donated by Booktique and Boardwalk Icecreamery.
All of the colouring in entries are displayed in empty shop windows around Merimbula - a good way to make some empty shop windows look interesting and colourful , the chamber thought.
