Local girls modelled some eye-catching outfits as young online entrepreneur, Alice Keltie, of Merimbula told an audience about her experience in starting up her business, called DreaMachine Clothing.
Alice was one of the speakers at an IT event held at the Pambula Surf Life Saving Club, Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 where business experts and entrepreneurs were brought together in a Dragon’s Den style event.
The eventual winner of the event was a group who had developed an app for smartphone which can provide an audio guided tour for tourists depending on where they are located.
Member for Eden-Monaro, Mike Kelly, made the opening keynote address and spoke about the importance of innovation and how somewhere like the Sapphire Coast could become a Silicon Beach which attracted innovative start up businesses because of the lifestyle offered.
