The Woolworths store at Tura Beach and other retail stores in the same complex were evacuated at about 2.30pm today when people in the store were overcome by fumes from resin used to install flooring in a new coffee shop in the complex.
At least three people were treated for nausea at the scene which was attended by four ambulance vehicles, two Merimbula fire trucks and two police vehicles.
Staff from the stores gathered outside the complex as fire crews donned breathing apparatus to assess the situation inside the building.
