This afternoon, Friday, August 23, Police issued a statement stating that five drivers with Bobbin Transport have been issued with court attendance notices.
Operation Felled, formed by Traffic and Highway Patrol and Far South Coast Local Area Command, to investigate Bobbin Transport’s daily operations and compliance with road transport legislation, resulted in the arrest of one man, Brendon Bobbin.
The Operation has also seen 11 infringements issued for offences of falsifying fatigue records and tampering with speed limiter systems.
Business records and computer hard drives were seized from the company which will form part of a chain of responsibility investigation.
