Sapphire Coast beaches have received an all clear from the Office of Environment and Heritage in the latest round of Beachwatch results.
Tests show all 12 beaches returning ‘Good’ results, meaning there are less than 41 Enterococci colony forming units (CFU) per 100ml of water.
A ‘Good’ result is the highest possible rating under the Beachwatch scheme.
The threshold for water not suitable for swimming is more than 201 enterococci CFU/100ml.
Beachgoers can swim and play with confidence, knowing that the Sapphire Coast continually offers some of the cleanest beaches in NSW
