Happy Harmony Day celebrated at Pambula

Pambula Public School was awash with colour on Friday, March 21 as students celebrated Harmony Day. The children were asked to dress in rainbow colours for the day to celebrate diversity.

Principal, Mark Thomson said that he spoke at assembly about the need to focus more on the similarities between us and less on the differences.

Mr Thomson said: “Harmony day is an opportunity to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and to recognise that we are a nation made up of many wonderful cultures and that cultural diversity is something to celebrate.”
